James Kean Murphy

James Kean Murphy passed away on December 23, 2024. He was born in San Diego, California, on December 20, 1962.

James was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. His greatest loves in life were his wife, Colleen Kay Murphy and Jesus Christ. He lived his life with unwavering faith, boundless love, and remarkable determination.

James achieved many things during his lifetime—he built businesses, homes, cars, and motorcycles. However, he would tell you that his greatest accomplishment was his family. Despite facing numerous challenges, including a ten-year battle with a rare form of cancer, James remained fearless and hopeful due to his strong faith.

Known for his genuine smile, zest for life, and ability to befriend anyone, James' unwavering faith in our Savior left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His legacy of faith, love, and grit will be carried on by his beloved wife, two sons, and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home and Cremation Services - 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
