Januaria A. Asuncion

Januaria Adriano Asuncion, 86, passed away peacefully of natural causes on the 19 of February 2020 in the Community Hospice close to her home in Jacksonville FL.

Januaria is survived by her two daughters, Amelia Taron and Gloria Lack. She was predeceased by her husband, Felipe Asuncion; and her four sons, Emilio Asuncion, Noel Asuncion, Gil Asuncion and Renato Asuncion.

Januaria was born on March 2, 1933 in the Philippines. She immigrated to the United States in 1993. She worked as a housekeeper at the Visitors Quarters, Naval Air Station Jacksonville and retired in 2006.

Januaria was a loving mother to her 6 children, grandmother to her 14 grandchildren, and great-grandmother to her 8 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
