John Wesley Andrews, Jr.

John W. Andrews, Jr. passed away on February 15, 2021 in North Bergen, NJ. He was born on April 2, 1940 in Jacksonville, FL, to the late John W. and Eula M. Andrews.

John graduated from New Stanton Senior High School and attended Edward Waters College, both located in Jacksonville. He worked for Con Edison as a senior accountant and retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a photographer for over fifty years, enjoyed baseball. and family time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rosa Andrews, and grandparents, Jim and Sara Andrews.

John is survived by his children, Robin Andrews-Santana, Angela Andrews-Crosby and Jon Andrews, III; grandchildren, Cherie Rivera, Taiesha James, Jamel James, Jiovanni Stovall, Aliyah Smith, Wesley James, Rosa James, Melissa Gonzalez, Joseph Crosby, Jonathan Andrews, Jeremiah Crosby, Summer Andrews, Jocelyn Crosby, Angel Crosby, Athaliah Crosby, Alexis Andrews-Santana, Alycisa Santana, Mark Donovan Santana, Daunte Santana, and Davante Santana; brothers and sisters, Walter Andrews, Charles Van (Judy) Andrews, Sean (Patrice) Andrews, Jarrett Andrews, Jr., Megaleto Andrews, Eler “Sister” Leocadio, Sandra Joyce Dukes, Patricia Ann Pierre, Cassandra Andrews, Telissa Andrews and Davita Hurst; nephew, Deron Dukes and many friends.
