Josefa Palengaoan Michael

Josefa Palengaoan Michael, 72, passed away on August 19, 2024 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on April 9, 1952 in Baguio City, Philippines, to the late Joseph Palengaoan, Sr. and Rosita (Urbano) Palengaoan.

Josefa worked as a registered nurse and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was a kind-hearted person and showed compassion to everyone she came across. Josefa always wanted the best for people and her unconditional love and care for others will surely be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Patrick, Mary, Juan, Paul and Caesaria.

Josefa is survived by her loving husband, Morris Michael; daughters, Rea (Romeo), Rani (Jeremy), Riza (Waqas), Roxan, Reba (Mharvin); son, Ryan (April); grandchildren, Justine, Jerico, Lyra, Rylie and Yusuf; brothers, Joseph, Jr., George and Peter; sisters, Julie and Gina and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, 1:00 p.m., until the hour of service.  Mrs. Michael Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 p.m., both services will be at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
