Kathryn E. Evers

Kathryn E. Evers, 90, passed away November 25, 2021 in Orange Park, FL. She was born on July 15, 1931 in Fort Payne, AL, to the late James Lester Tumlin and Martha Janie Ashley. 

Kathryn received her real estate license and worked as a Realtor for over 40 years and was a member of the president’s club and million dollar club. She loved golfing, playing tennis, dancing, skiing and playing bridge. Kathryn loved the beach. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Mikel Evers; sisters, Mildred Galloway and Jo Alexander; brothers, J.L. Tumlin, Dick Tumlin and Jack Tumlin.

Kathryn leaves her loving family to cherish her memory — children, Candice LeCompte, Jerry (Theresa) Evers and Janie (Gary) Whitmore; granddaughters, Alisha Adelman, Holly Lupo and Mari Evers; grandsons, Alex Whitmore, Alan LeCompte, Brad Evers and Zack Evers; great-grandsons, Caleb Cisco, Jacob Evers and Orion Evers; great-granddaughters, Lauren Lupo and Katelyn Lupo. 

A visitation will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
