Kaylee Muree (Seagraves) Potuznik, 52, passed away on November 27, 2025 in Middleburg, FL. She was born on March 09, 1973 in Ukiah, CA, to Van Coleman Seagraves and the late Joelyn Muree (Tomter) Seagraves.
Kaylee’s educational accomplishments included German Engineering Internship, US Army Equal Employment Opportunity Internship. She served with West Point Military Academy EEO Intern and Specialist, US Army Pentagon EEO Specialist and US Army Walter Reed Medical Cener EEO Specialist. Kaylee was dedicated to soldiers and veterans. She respected the United States and was a true patriot.
Kaylee lived in many states in the US including, California, Neveda, New York, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. She loved the world and grew up in many places in Germany but loved Bavaria BEST, especially Munich. Kaylee lived overseas in Schmidmuhlen, Germany, the Kingdom of Bahrain and Okinawa, Japan.
Kaylee was an incredible chef! She absolutely loved to cook and knew so many old-world secrets of spices, cooking and flavorings. Kaylee loved to draw, paint and color, both online and on hard stock. She even had a dragon tattoo on her left shoulder. She was an incredibly insightful and thought-provoking poet. Kaylee watched and followed birds, especially raptors like Hawks and Eagles. Kaylee would hoot with the owls in her backyard and was in touch with all of mother nature’s animal children.
Kaylee has an incredible, beautiful smile and laugh. She and her mother, Joelyn, went Tandem Skydiving in New York in 2001. They also went indoor skydiving in the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2018.
Kaylee was preceded in death by her mother, Joelyn Muree (Tomter) Seagraves.
Kaylee is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Joseph Potuznik; son, Michael Jeffery Joshua Lehman; father, Van Coleman Seagraves; cousins, Tommy Seagraves, Ted Tomter, Jr., Marie LaSor and Kenny Oliver; friends, Gail Lehman, Kelly Hamilton, Guy Rainville, Jason Green, Kaylee Marie, Michkaela Jones and James Beemer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
