Lori Marie Richards

Lori Marie Richards (Cleland), 58, passed away after a sudden illness on January 18, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones as the Lord welcomed her with open arms.

Lori attended high school in Tallmadge, OH before earning her BA in Fashion Merchandising at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH. Lori went on to a successful career spanning more than thirty years in retail at various major department stores.

After graduating college Lori moved to Jacksonville, FL to be near her parents and where she met her husband, Scott Richards, and was married on May 21, 1994. Lori and Scott lived in Jacksonville for a number of years before spending twenty years on Fleming Island. Lori was  an avid football fan her entire life and never missed a Jaguars game.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her dear husband, Scott and their beloved dog, Patch. She also leaves behind her loving parents, George and Joanne Cleland of Viera, FL; her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Jane Cleland of Viera, FL. In addition, she leaves behind numerous in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a close group of friends who will also remember her shining spirit.
