Louise Johnson Obituary

Louise DeLoach Johnson, 78, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 in Fleming Island, FL. She was born on December 23, 1945 in Ludowici, GA, to the late Lester and Juanita DeLoach.

Louise entered into matrimony with Mr. Rudett W. Johnson twice, once on October 6, 1969 and again on March 28, 2013.

For years, Louise was a Clay County Deputy Sheriff and after that, for twenty six years, she was a bus driver for the Clay County School Board, until she retired.

Louise joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ludowici at an early age. In 1969, she joined Mt. Zion A.M.E, Church in Green Cove Springs, FL. She became a missionary and continue to serve feeding and helping others until late 2023.

Family members preceding Louise in death are her parents; two sons; one sister and four brothers.

Louise leaves to mourn her passing, loving husband, Rudett W. Johnson, Fleming Island; daughters, Sonia Postell (Le Andrew), Jacksonville, FL and Kisha Johnson (Alonzo), Green Cove Springs; two bonus daughters, Diane Johnson, Jacksonville and Jasemine Dollason (Daquan), Jacksonville; sister, Lillian Banks, Ludowici; seven grandchildren, Stephan Deloach (Marcia) (Lackland Air Force Base) San Antonio, TX, Antquan Smith, Jacksonville, Joshua Gregory, Green Cove Springs, Anthony DeLoach, Jacksonville, Jermiah Johnson, Green Cove Springs, Avryana Richardson, Jacksonville and Josiah McCaskill, Green Cove Springs; five bonus grandchildren, Solomon Thomas, Brittany Johnson, Shanika Alston (Derrell), Heem Dollason and Varie Dollason, all of Jacksonville; seven great-grandchildren, Layla, Kamiah, Kaliyah, Caleb, Kamaria, Jacob and Kamilya; ten bonus great-grandchildren, Kamari, Elias, Justice, Layla, Karman, King, Queen, Dashawn, Zakariona and Solomon, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Debra Lewis, Orange Park, FL, Patricia Wright, Lucille Deveaux and Rosemary Wright, all of Jacksonville; special cousin, James DeLoach; nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends like family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 27, 2024, a visitation will be held at  2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service 3:00 p.m. All service will be at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida, 32073, (904)-264-1233.

On Monday, July 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.internment will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
