It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Margaret M. Andiorio. In the early hours of January 6, 2024, Maggie passed away peacefully at her home in Orange Park, Florida. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many over the years. She will be thought of always, talked about still, forever missed, never forgotten, and always be held in our hearts. It gives us comfort that “What we once have enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us.” (Helen Keller)
We know she has settled and is finally in a place of happiness and enjoyment where she will now call home. She can be found next to the jukebox, with the loved ones who have passed before, a big smile on her face, and always being the life of the party.
Her legacy of strength, pride and determination, (along with a side of stubbornness) will be carried on here by her kids and granddaughters. Rest easy.
Per her wishes, there will not be a traditional funeral. Close family and friends will gather at a later date to celebrate her life well lived.
In remembrance, if anyone would like to make a donation to the Safe Animal Shelter here in Clay County and dedicate it to Maggie, that would be a kind gesture as this is where her sweet Lilly came from.
