Margaret Robinson Moore departed this earthly life on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 0950 AM at the home of her daughter and son, Margaret “Diane” and Stanley King, in Orange Park, Florida.
Margaret, the daughter of the late Ben Robinson, Sr., and Idella Harrison Robinson, was born March 2, 1936, in Franklin (Dooley County), Georgia. She was the granddaughter of the late John and Charlotta Robinson of Hawkinsville, Georgia, and the late Rev. John and Amanda Harrison of Valdosta, Georgia.
Margaret accepted Christ as a teenager and was baptized by the late Rev. Jerry Haymon of Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Doctor’s Inlet, Florida. She later relocated and joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where she attended for a few years, before moving her membership to Saint Simon Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully until her death.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Henry I, and Kerwin; six brothers and seven sisters; one grandson, Michael X. Moore and one great granddaughter, Felisia Williams.
Margaret leaves treasured memories with her children: Margaret and Stanley King, Michael Moore, Vivian McCall, Alfred and Olivia Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; brother and sister, Alfred and Willie Mae Robinson of Palatka, Florida; one sister-in-law, Beatrice B. Robinson of Orange Park, Florida; grands; Tori Robinson, Ericka and Pedro Tello, Alicia Dixon, Jonathan and Jacklene Dixon, Henry and Sierra Robinson, Ashlee Robinson, Kelvan Robinson, Latoyia Moore, Terra Moore, Aleece Moore, Rashad and Eliana Kirkland, John-Curtis and Angela Cogdell, Gwen and Johnny Lance, Carla Brown-Dixon, Denisha and Johnny Thomas; and twenty-four great grands; one great-great grand, Aunesti Seymore that was born on Margaret’s birthday; nieces, nephews, cousins, and her dear great friend, Mary F. Rease; a host of friends and St. Simon Missionary Baptist Church Family.
