Mark Anthony Fleming, 58, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in his home. He was born on August 8, 1963 in Detroit, MI, to Walter and Nancy Fleming, younger brother to Craig Fleming.
He was a very loving father and an amazing grandfather. His family meant the world to him. Mark was a friend to all and he was always devoted to helping others. He never gave up on people. He had a great group of friends, some whom he had known since he was just a kid.
Mark loved to travel and enjoyed things like skiing in Colorado and motorcycle rides through the Blue Ridge Mountains. One of his favorite places to visit was Maggie Valley. He even planned on retiring there. Mark had an extreme sense of adventure and a bit of a wild side. His need for speed surpassed most. His favorite pastimes included riding his motorcycle, jumping waves with jet skis, watching FOX News and cooking delicious food and desserts.
He created and owned a successful automotive repair business that serviced the Jacksonville area. His technique with steering columns helped change the face of theft recovery repairs. He had many business ventures throughout the years, but BLC Automotive was his biggest success. He could fix anything. He would always say “Man, I'd fix the space shuttle if they'd let me!”
Mark is survived by his three daughters, Brandy Reyes, Casandra Stefanik and Leanne Fleming. He will forever be missed by his eight loving grandchildren, Brenden, Lucas, Falynn, Carleigh, Bentley, Abigail, Heather and Bridget.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.
