Martha Jennifer Strickland

Martha “Jennifer” Strickland passed away on July 12, 2026, in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on February 17, 1982, in Charlotte, NC, to the late James Alexander Strickland, Jr. and Martha Joseph Strickland.

Jennifer enjoyed painting, whimsical crafts and drag racing. She was loved and will be missed by many who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family members preceding Jennifer in death are her parents, and grandparents, James Alexander Strickland and Bessie Louise Cagle.

Jennifer is survived by her brother, James Matthew Strickland; sister, Elizabeth Rebecca Tooley; aunts, Sandra Louise Strickland and Laurie Stewart; nieces, Tory Jo Tooley, Summer Martha Strickland, and Paris Kelis Patton; cousins, Phillip Vincent Strickland and Phillip Mark Strickland; friend, Joeline Long Erlandson and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Gazebo, 321 Walnut Street, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
