Mary Winifred Golden Lambert

Mary Winifred Golden Lambert, 84, passed away on July 16, 2026, in Fleming Island, Florida. She was born on March 15, 1942, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Druly Coy Golden and Jesse Winifred Wood.

Mary was proudest of her family, who were the center of her world. For 18 years, she and Delmer, the love of her life, traveled the world together as avid adventures. Her heart was anchored in Christ, and she found God’s beauty in every place she wandered. 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delmer Kay Lambert; and her children, Donna Nickelson, Debra Lambert and Trish Silvidi.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Linda Nickelson-VanPelt, Ronald (Lisa) Nickelson, Delmer Lambert, Jr. and Paula Waumbold; her siblings, Tom, Brenda, and Druly Jr. (Shirley); her grandchildren, Bobbi (Jessie), Nykki (Donald), Ashley (Angelo), Dustin, Ryan (Cassandra), Anthony and Nicholas, Samantha and Aaron, Paula and Richard, and Glen; and her great-grandchildren, Nathan and Jaylin, Bryanna and Carmine, Samuel and Robert, and Eva and Rowen.

The family will be having a private Celebration of Life, as Mary wished.
