Mary Kay Steinman, 77, who planted seeds of faith, joy, love, and encouragement, passed away peacefully after being surrounded by her loved ones on July 16.
Mary Kay was a child of God, a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, trusted confidant, and a good example for those who needed one.
She was quick to read the room, a situation, or a person whether good, bad, or indifferent, and when asked, could provide a solution if one was open to forthright honesty. Her candor, intelligence, quick wit and plainspokenness was a source of delight to many. She practiced the lost art of writing thoughtful and compassionate notes and letters of celebration, consolation, congratulation, and inspiration.
Mary Kay excelled in business. She had a successful career in corporate America specializing in creative advertising, and was a member of Mensa.
She was a devoted member of Lakeshore Church of Christ.
Mary Kay is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Sandy Steinman; sons Scott, Matthew and Darrin; grandchildren, Breanne, Savanna, Matthew and Darrin Jr.; sister, Nan (Bill); brother, Arthur (Diana); sister-in-law, Sherry; great-grand children, Elijah, Jordan, Nikoli, Jay, Camilla and Celine, and many friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Arthur and Blanche Moody, and brother, Curry Thomas Moody.
Mary Kay left an empty space in many hearts that will never be filled, until we see her face again.
A Memorial Service will be begin at 7:00pm, Thursday July 20, 2023 at Lakeshore Church of Christ, 1796 Old Middleburg Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32210
