Mia Leigh “Mookie” Evans, was born on Friday, May 17, 1985 to loving parents, Zachary and JoAnn (James) Evans and she was the beloved sister of ZáCarius Evans and cherished aunt to one niece and one nephew. She was a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She departed this life from Newport News, Virginia on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Mia was a proud Navy veteran and registered nurse. Mia came to know the Lord at an early age at Madeira Baptist Church in Orange Park, Florida and she as an active member with the Mount at Peninsula Church, Yorktown Virginia. She served her Lord her whole life.
