Michael Thomas Brower

Michael Thomas Brower passed away on August 6, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL He was born on February 23, 1979 in Marietta, GA, to Thomas Wayne Brower and Elizabeth Susan Brower.

He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1997. Michael worked at J.C. Penney for 23 years. He volunteered at “DSAJ”, Downs Syndrome Association of Jacksonville Basketball League with his best friend, J.P. Ellison. He loved going to races all over the country and always ran in the Donna Deegan Marathon to support women battling breast cancer. He was a giver and would help without hesitation, always there for people in times of need and pain. Michael enjoyed running, card and coin collecting, music, traveling, nature, reading and watching movies. He was a member of Church of the Nazarene.

Michael is survived by his parents; brother, Daniel Stephen Brower (Eva Yanina); grandmother, Betty Brower; nieces, Yaremi Adela Rivera and Yariah Victoria Rivera; friend, Japeth Ellison.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the funeral service on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.

At Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home we will continue to follow all CDC and Florida Department of Health social distances guidelines : No more than 50 family members and friends may physically be present in the funeral home at any time.
