Michael Anthony Sides

Michael Anthony Sides passed away on October 30, 2021 in Middleburg, Florida. He was born on January 9, 1959 in Kingsville, Texas to, the late Elijah Roy Sides and Frances Jean Prosser.

Michael retired from the U.S. Navy. After retirement, he worked at the Navy Lodge. He enjoyed drawing, fishing and camping.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents.

Michael is survived by his children, Christopher Michael Sides, Timothy Wayne Sides and Courtney Marie Hall; grandchildren, Bryce Sides, Brandon Sides, Bradley Sides, Alyssa Hall, Emma Hall, Sean Hall and Luke Hall; brother, David Sineath; sisters, Tanya Sides Hughes and Michelle Sineath; nephew, Steven Hughes; nieces, Ashley Hughes and Christal Hughes and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073. A graveside service with military honors will be held 1:00 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
