Midell Syde Bryant Jr. was born on February 19, 1966 in St. Louis, MO, to the union of Khadija Khalil and Midell Bryant Sr. In 1984, Midell graduated from Hazelwood West High School, marking the beginning of his journey into adulthood. Midell met Patricia James and they married in 1992. Their union brought forth two daughters, Alyssa Bryant and Mikayla Bryant. He went on to work as a mail handler at the United States Postal Service for the next 35 years.
Beyond his professional life, Midell was a multifaceted individual with a passion for fishing, working on cars, extensive knowledge of computers, and an overall knack for being a handyman. His ability to fix things and solve problems, made him the go-to person for friends and family seeking assistance.
Midell Syde Bryant Jr. will be remembered not only for his skills and accomplishments but also for his big personality. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, laughter, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Midell departed his life on January 29, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father Midell Bryant Sr., grandparents Delisse Banks and Robert Banks and uncle Alvin Bryant.
He leaves to mourn his passing: Khadija Khalil (mother), Patricia Bryant (wife), Alyssa Bryant and Mikayla Bryant (daughters), Ozell Bryant, Lamarr Bryant, Damion Bryant (brothers), and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
As we mourn the loss of Midell, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
