Mildred Edwards

Mildred Edwards, 72, passed away on May 19, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on February 5, 1948 in Eastman, GA to the late Milton and Eva Mae Edwards.

She graduated from Peabody High School and later became a mechanic for Greyhound from which she retired. Mildred was a member of West Jacksonville Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing tennis in her younger years and in her later years she enjoyed putting puzzels together.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice Odom and brother, Jimmy Edwards.

She is survived by her son, John Edwards (Loretta); grandchildren, Khalon Sykes, Khian Sykes, Chyna Edwards, Marquez Edwards, Juaton Edwards and Ariel Edwards; nephews, John Odom, David Odom and Damon Edwards; nieces, Khianna Edwards and Jamese Edwards; cousin, Nita Edwards; friends, Fannie Cooper, Pearline Gilbert and Gloria Williams.
