Paul Edward Boggess, Sr.

Paul E. Boggess, Sr. passed away on June 3, 2024, in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on January 26, 1935, in Charleston, WV, to the late M.G. and Mally Boggess.

Paul served with the US Navy and retired as a Navy pilot. He enjoyed daily coffee gatherings, western movies and was a very caring family man.

Family members preceding Paul in death are his parents; wife, Shirley Lee Boggess; sons, Paul E. Boggess, Jr. and Brad Lee Boggess and brother, Okey A. Boggess.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Denise Keefe; granddaughter, Mary Jane Boggess; sister, Mary Thomas; nephews, William A. Boggess, Robert P. Boggess and Robert S. Thomas; nieces, Deborah Shannon and Beverly Chinnis; special friend, Betty Neal and a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
