Paul Russell Noe, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2022, in Orange Park, FL.
Paul was born on August 15, 1961 in Pensacola, FL. Being in a military family, he moved often, living in Maryland, Bermuda, and Scotland before settling in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he graduated from Princess Anne High School in 1979. He was part of the Virginia Beach all city chorus, the National Honor Society, and the Who's Who Among American High School Students.
Paul was hired by Naval Air Rework Facility, NAS Norfolk in 1982 and graduated from their Sheet Metal Apprenticeship Program in 1986. He moved on to be an NDI Metals Inspector, traveling the world before becoming a Quality Assurance Specialist at Naval Aviation Depot, NAS Jacksonville and Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic, NAS Oceana.
He retired in 2021 as Quality Assurance Division Director at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, NAS Jacksonville with 38 years of Government service.
Paul was a devoted sports fan. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers. He played soccer growing up, was on countless softball leagues, and was an avid golfer. He volunteered at the TPC Sawgrass for many years. He ran an annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach for the past 24 years, getting together 60+ guys from Florida and Virginia, something he deeply cherished.
Paul was a family man and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by those he loved. He was a proud father and husband, and would do anything for "his girls". Paul was always ready to talk about his grandchildren to anyone who would listen. He was hard-working, loyal, intelligent and thoughtful. He was a friend to all that met him.
Paul is survived by his wife, Christine whom he married November 9, 2013; his daughters, Nicole Noe and Amanda Keuning; step-daughter, Nicolle Rawson (Greg); his much older brother, Raymond Noe (Sheri); sisters, Debra Dishmon and Lea Ann Noe; and 7 grandchildren; Anthony, Kennedy, Carter, Liam, Katheryn, McKinley and Hadley. He also leaves behind many life-long friends, including his best friend Ed Core.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Joyce Noe.
Paul was a generous and giving man, frequently making donations to organizations near and dear to his heart, including K9s for Warriors, The ALS Association, and Wounded Warriors.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made on Paul's behalf to K9s for Warriors.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
