Phelanda Michelle Sadler

Phelanda Michelle Sadler, 55, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021, in Orange Park, FL. She was born on May 2, 1966, in Knoxville, TN, to the late Leo Sadler and Betty C. Sadler.

Phelanda graduated from Austin East High School, Class of 1984, in Knoxville. She attended Morristown Tennessee College. Phelanda worked as a Members Service Representative  at Vystar Credit Union and with JM Associates. She was a member of Spirit of Life Church where she served as an usher, danced with the Praise Team and was a member of Women of Virtue. Phelanda enjoyed being a planner of all sorts of events and socials.

Phelanda was preceded in death by her parents; aunt, Elizabeth “Eva” Petitt and grandparents, Willie J. Campbell and Lubirda T. Woods.

Phelanda is survived by her children, Austin Jacques (Brittany) Sadler, Samuel Bernard Jiles, IV and Jordan La’Kindred Jiles; grandchildren, Autumn Ja’nay Sadler, Aubrey Monae Carter, Austin Jacques Sadler, Jr. and Aceyn Jacques Sadler; brothers, Gordon Keith (Shelia) Campbell, Christopher Leon Sadler, Kevin LaVon Sadler, James D. (Darlene) Bridges and David Sadler; sister, Melissa Ann Sadler; nephews, Quarnotta T. Sadler, Malik R. Campbell and Elijah D. Sadler; nieces, Shania F. Campbell and Olivia S. Sadler; special friends, GiGi Blackshear, Lachelle Bowens, Ms. Shirl, Tywanda Cade Williams, Rhonda Walker, Tracy Miller, Jackie Strickland-Flack and Sherwin (BaeBae) Taylor; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 23, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073. The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at  Wayman Temple AME Church (West Campus), 1176 Labelle Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
