Obituary

Rachael Marie Ellis passed away on March 4, 2023, in Middleburg, FL. She was born on September 6, 1969, in Casa Grande, AZ to James Robert McCrery and Lolita B. (Lopez) Thomas.

Rachael was an adventurist woman who loved traveling through forty-nine states. She enjoyed taking care of her horses, volunteering for the scouts, an occasional bottle of wine and in her free time, she would spend it dancing at the casino with her children and friends.

Family members preceding Rachael in death are her step-father, Rico Thomas, -grandfather, Luis Lopez and grandmother, Roberta Lopez.

Left to cherish Rachael’s memory are her loving husband, Billy Joe Ellis; sons, Gabriel Luis Montijo, David Stephen Montijo and Joseph Daniel Lopez; grandchildren, Junior Montijo, Fabian Xavier Montijo, Isabella Anne Montijo, Alice Catherine Beatrice Montijo, Isaiah Rowan and Luna Navarro; brother, Robert Lopez; sisters, Catherine Beatrice Lopez, Laurie Thomas and Cynthia Thomas and a host of other relatives and friends.
