Raheem S. Johnson

Raheem Shamel Johnson passed away on November 13, 2022 in Brunswick, GA. He was born on May 31, 1980 in Queens, N.Y., to Melvin Nelson and Catherine D. Johnson. 

Raheem also known as DJ DramaDon, was a loving son, husband, father, brother, nephew,  uncle and friend. He had a heart of gold and was very supportive of his family and friends. He was a hard worker and a man of many talents. He had a passion for music and loved to DJ.

Raheem was preceded in death by his brother, Jakieme Johnson; aunt, Geraldine Johnson; uncles, Elonzo Sims and Kevin Johnson; and grandparents, Joseph S. and Dorothy L. White.  

Raheem is survived by his loving wife, Ranarda Lynette Wright-Johnson; children, Melanie Monet Wright-Johnson, Shane Rahmell Johnson, Jaelyn Princess Johnson and Ashanti Johnson; mother, Catherine D. Johnson; father, Melvin Nelson; stepmother, Marsha Forcey-Nelson; grandmother, Hildra Nelson-Darlington; mother-in-law, Melissa Wright; sisters, Ta’mieka N. Nelson-Johnson and Tanisha S. Johnson-Barnes; brother, Lamar D. Toddman, brothers-in-law, Terrence Johnson, Michael Wright and LaQuinton Wright; sister-in-law, Briana Evans; nephews, Raymond C. Johnson, Tyreese M. Johnson and Dondre N. Holmes; nieces, Kayla S. Gomez, Kelis S. Johnson and Kyah M. Gomez; aunts, Tonya Nelson, Arlene Lovell, Sandra (Harold) Green and Carolyn Jenkins; and uncles, Donald Sims, Darnell White, Archie Johnson, Joseph White, Donald Nelson, Fred Nelson and Steve Nelson. Raheem was loved by a host of cousins and many friends who became extended family members.  He will truly be missed.
