Ray Wellborn Blackmar, III

Ray Wellborn Blackmar, III went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2021.  He was a Jacksonville native and resided in Green Cove Springs after he retired from General Electric.  Ray was an avid golfer and fisherman.  He enjoyed working out at the YMCA and spent his spare time volunteering at Orange Park Medical Center.  He thoroughly loved reading a good book and playing with his dog, Button.  He leaves behind his beloved wife, Elfriede F. Blackmar; his step-family, Colleen and James Murphy; along with grandchildren, Patrick (Sommer) and Marcus Murphy.  He also had two great grandchildren, Emerson and Camden Murphy.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
