Robert “Bob” John Joseph Vanek

Robert “Bob” John Joseph Vanek, 30, of Orange Park, FL passed away on June 19, 2023 in Alabama. Bob was born in Jacksonville, FL to Robert A. Vanek and Sherrie Isdell Vanek on December 22, 1992.  

Bob graduated in 2011 from Ridgeview High School in Orange Park and worked as a metal fabricator for IEM. He enjoyed spending time with his son and watching movies and being with family and friends. He was an extremely caring individual who always put others first. He truly cared for all people and would give everyone and anyone anything he had to help them.  

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John “Jack” Vanek and John Isdell, and uncles, John Vanek and Robert Isdell.  

Bob is survived by his 7-year-old son, Robert C. Vanek of Orange Park; parents, Robert A. Vanek and Sherrie Isdell Vanek, of Orange Park; sisters, Jessica M. Vanek of Bentonville, AR, and Jennifer Vanek of Orange Park; grandmothers, Patricia J. Vanek of Orange Park and Dolores E. Isdell of Palos Hills, IL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins throughout Florida, Illinois and Wisconsin.  

A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Eleven22, 317 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, FL 32073, with Pastor Trey Curry presiding. (The doors will open at 12:30 p.m.)  

Flowers will be accepted on Friday, June 30, 2023, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, at The Church of Eleven22.

Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, is serving the family.
