Rupert Robinson passed away on November 23, 2024 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on January 24, 1926 in Guyana, South America, to the late Cecil Fitzalbert Robinson and Hyicient Spires.
Family members preceding Rupert in death were his parents; sister, Pinkey and brothers, Joseph, Eustace, Claudie, Samuel, Randolph and Herbert.
Rupert is survived by his wife, Sylvia Robinson; seven children: Esther Dixon, Lynette Jackson, Warren Robinson (June), Pamela Langrey, Adrian Robinson (Nadine), Brian Robinson (Ailene) and Diane Davis (James); 17 grandchildren: Orette, Jermaine, Travis, Owen, Philip, Kashif, Khadim, Martinez, Ognan, Spenser, Latoya, Keisha, Alena, Resa, Shantea, Sylvia and Brianna; 23 great-grandchildren: Shameek, Damoni, Messiah, Jermiah, Demi, Andrae, Xlon, Cai, Geovanni, Xara, Owen, Jr., Aniya, Mariah, Khaden, Elijah, Khloei, Zahmir, Dominic, Adrianna, King, Orette, Angelina and Leon; brother, Phillip Robinson; sisters, Elsa, Nellie, Pasty and Trixie; nephews, Tony, Hammad, Marion, Larry, Elvis, Kempton, Esdel Jr., and Earl; nieces, Ann, Pat, Donna, Tisha, Wendy, Marcia, Debbie, Jackie, Alexis, Eslin, Seanotte, Barbara, Michelle, Kay, Deon, Thelma and Claudette; cousin, Edna; friends, Irene, Margaret and Shirley, and a host of other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.
