Sandra Martin Steed

Sandra Martin Steed, age 75, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at home. She was born in Columbia, SC on April 21, 1942. Sandra worked at Naval Air Station Jacksonville in the supply department and later, in the optical department at JC Penney for several years. Sandra loved to attend church and taught children’s church and Sunday school.

She is survived by her children, Sheilah Marcum Gibson (Joe), Jim Marcum, Jason Marcum (Kristi); 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m., both at First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, lead by Pastor Stanley Puckett. Immediately following the service, interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.

Sandra will be missed by all who knew her.
