Seongbae Cheong

Seongbae Cheong, 77, passed away on July 14, 2026 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on December 3, 1948 in South Korea to the late Youngjin Cheong and Dongsoon Chun.

Seongbae received a Doctor of Ministry Degree and was a minister at United Methodist Church in FL and the Iowa City Korean United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading and spending time with family.

Seongbae is survived by his loving wife, Youngsun Cheong; daughters, Christine Oh and Janet Cheong; grandchildren, Daniel Oh and Nathanael Oh; brother, Hongbae Cheong; sisters, Mosook Cheong and Yoonsook Cheong; and a host of other relatives and friends.
