Sharon Clayton Harris,77, passed away on September 7, 2025 in Orange Park, FL. She was born on April 16, 1946 in Fredericksburg, VA, to the late Thomas Robert Clayton and Edith Lilian Shimpeno.
Sharon received a B.A. degree in Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice and was a licensed LPN. She worked as an Intake Coordinator for Crime Victim Services of Jacksonville. Sharon was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and enjoyed arts and crafts and reading. Blue was her favorite color.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nat Harris; brother, Thomas Robery Clayton, Jr.; uncle, Franklin Shimpeno; nephew, Thomas Robert Clayton, III. and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Sharon leaves to cherish her memory, loving and devoted friends, George and Gwendolyn Thompson, and her Calvary United Methodist Church Family.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 112 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, 32073.
