Sharron Louise Carr

Sharron “Sharry” Louise Carr suddenly and tragically passed on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the age of 77 years old. She was born in Evansville, Indiana to Garland and Bettye Tuley. She resided there until 1978 when she moved to Florida. 

In life, she was the most caring person. She greeted everyone with an infectious smile and a big hug. She made her presence known in any room she walked into with her pink stripe in her hair and her boisterous personality. Her grandchildren were her entire world whether through blood relation or not. When she wasn’t with family, you could find her playing poker with her friends or bowling in her senior league. It was truly a pleasure for anyone that knew her to have been a part of her life. 

She is predeceased by her husband Vollie Carr and grandson, Nathaniel Lucas Conway.

She is survived by her daughter Valerie Kathleen Zapp; son-in-law, John Zapp; her 7 grandchildren, and the many others that referred to her as “nana” as well and nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
