Sparkle Chicora Rosemond passed away October 24, 2021.

Sparkle Chicora Rosemond, 32, passed away on October 24, 2021 in Ocala, FL. She was born on January 30, 1989 at the Naval Hospital in Charleston, SC, to Michael Rosemond and the late Kathy Rosemond.

Sparkle graduated from Winans Academy in Detroit, MI, in 2009. Sadly, she became ill at a young age but her faith continued to grow as did her love for God. Another love was for animals, especially Coco and her dog Baby Girl “BG.” She enjoyed computers and playing video games.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Rosemond; grandparents, Ruby Jackson, Charles King and Noah Rosemond.

Sparkle is survived by her father, Michael Rosemond; brothers and sisters, James (Neissha) King, Tamika (David Perry) King, Tawana (Adrian) Lewis and Michael C. (Lisa) Rosemond; grandmother, Mamie Sue Rosemond; numerous family members and friends.

The family is eternally grateful for the excellent care Sparkle received with Hospice of Marion County in the E.W. and Lucille Cates House. We are also grateful to Margaret Rose Glenn, L.C.S.W., for years of loving guidance and support.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073.
