Susie Simone Brown-Persinger

Simone Brown-Persinger passed away on January 10, 2025, in Orange Park, FL. She was born on January 12, 1969 in Jacksonville, FL, to Herbert Brown and Susie Page.

Simone earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and later worked for Community Hospice and Alivia Home Health. She enjoyed photography, scrapbooking, swimming, 80’s music and watching FSU football.

Family members preceding Simone in death are her son, Gavon K. Brown; grandparents, Truman Brown, Clara Brown, Weldon Hitchcock and Susie Reba Hitchcock; stepfather, Edward Page, and cousin, Reggie Brown.

Simone is survived by her loving husband, John Persinger; sons, Kasen Brown (Allyson) and Trent Persinger; mother, Susie Page; father, Truman Herbert Brown (Cathy); brothers, Troy Brown (Stacy), Jason Brown, Adam Brown and Warren Page; sister, Wanda Page; nephew, Bryce Brown; nieces, Emma Brown and Lilly Brown; cousins, Tom Brown, Allison Brown-Zinman, Matthew Brown, Melissa Williams and Amy Williams; mother-in-law, Shirley Persinger, and a host of other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. following greeting at 10:00 a.m., both services are at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, 904-264-1233.
