Tanya Chrystene Marsh

Tanya Chrystene Marsh, 51, of Orange Park, FL, sadly and unexpectedly passed away into the Lord’s open arms on January 15, 2024.  She was born at Naval Hospital Jacksonville (Florida) on February 20, 1972.  She was the daughter of Diana and the late Wayne Patterson. 

Tanya graduated from Orange Park High School in 1990. She attended the University of South Florida and later graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She started her career in Greensboro with AT&T and for the past 18 years was a faithful employee at Fidelity Investments in Jacksonville. She loved her job and all the people she worked with.  

Tanya is survived by her mother, Diana; brothers, Ryan (Kelsea) of Crawfordville, FL  and Brett (Sarah) of Simpsonville, SC; uncle, Dorian Gleason of Daniel Island, SC; cousins, Joy Jones and Angela Mulligan, many nieces and nephews and many special friends who reside throughout the country. Tanya loved life, but nothing meant more to her than her dogs, Toby (who went to the rainbow bridge four years ago) and her labradoodle, Andy, who is missing her terribly. Tanya was such a positive, loving person who had a smile for everyone. She will be missed by many, but none more than her mother. Their nightly calls were always special. Goodbye our sweet girl!  

A Celebration of Tanya’s life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
