Theodore “Theo” Brown Jr., of Orange Park, Florida, was called home to rest on April 29, 2023. He was a loving son, brother, and devoted dad.
Theo was born on February 23, 1991, in Orange Park, Florida, to Amanda Gaskin-Brown. Theo was a former construction worker and pipe layer who enjoyed working with his hands. He had a passion for music, particularly rap, and he loved football and track. He was a talented athlete who enjoyed staying active and pushing himself to be the best he could be.
Theo graduated from Fleming Island High School and later received a certificate in culinary arts.
He was a gifted cook who loved experimenting with new recipes and flavors. His family and friends were always eager to try his latest creations, and he took great joy in sharing his love of food
with those around him.
In his free time, Theo continued to pursue his passion for music and sports, and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was known for his infectious smile and his kind heart, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Theo is survived by his mother, Amanda Gaskin-Brown; daughter, Samiyah L. Brown; brother,
Theodric A. Brown; half sisters, Teshay Brown and Nikki Cooper (Antwan); niece, Tsehai A. Brown; grandparents, Woodrow Gaskin (late) and Mary Gaskin; aunt, Sherry Hawk (Michael); uncle Craig Gaskin (late), and a host of cousins, family and friends.
