Theresa Ellen Lastichen

Theresa “Terry” Ellen Lastichen died suddenly on December 30, 2019 at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on June 24, 1966 in Bristol, PA to Dorothy “Topper” Lastichen and the late Joseph “Joe” Lastichen.

Terry was a graduate of Morrisville High School and took enrichment courses at Buck County Community College and taught students under her mentor, Betty Jean Kohan. She then went on to attend college at the Pratt Institute School of Design in NY and graduated with a BA degree. She won a lighting award in her junior year. She then worked at CUH2A Architectural Firm in Princeton, NJ for a few years then worked at NK Architects where she had many designs with Dassault Falcon Jet North American Corporation Headquarters, Mercedes Benz North America Corporation. Headquarters and Riverview Medical Center. After moving to Florida she found her dream job in design at the Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. She just loved her work. Terry also loved travel, art, a real adventurist in outdoor activities especially skydiving, and dinning with friends.

Terry is preceded in death by her father; grandfather, Joseph Lastichen and grandmother, Anna Ruth Janniello.

Terry leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Dorothy “Topper” Lastichen; brother, Tim (Anne) Lastichen; sister, Kim (Al) Paivandy; nephew, Timothy Michael Lastichen; nieces, Kaitlyn Rose Lastichen, Shelah Paivandy, Dr. Sheba (Dr. Nolan) Katz and family and Sheena Reich and family; numerous cousins; friends, Kimberely Pierson, David Kinsey, Gary DeBaisse and Sally Baxter.

A visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073, (904) 264-1233.
