Thomas Johnson, Jr.

Thomas Johnson, Jr. passed away on September 27, 2022 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on September 19, 1953 in Montgomery, AL, to Annie Mae Mathens and the late Thomas Johnson, Sr.

Thomas graduated from high school and later owned a small construction business specializing in dry wall and stucco. He was a member of the Excavator Union and Small Business Association. Thomas enjoyed boxing, walking, traveling, swimming, fishing and watching movies.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Tombalena Johnson, son, Robert Johnson; brother, Thomas Lornell Johnson and grandparents, Will and Mary Johnson and William and Mary Watkins.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Mayester Lewis; sons, Raymond Alverez and Kevin Michell; grandchildren, Altaneisha Gatling, Justice Guyton, Alton Gatling, Raekwon Nelson, great-grandchildren, Justice Gatling and Mikwon Brockington, Jr.; brothers, Alphonso Davison and Diante Johnson; sisters, Theresa Adams, Tanya Ernestin Drake, Tomnisha Johnson, Charlotte Simons, Rose Ha Davison, Sherece and Jamison and a host of friends.

Due to family members in various states, a memorial service will be held at a later date to include Live Streaming .
