Timothy Glenn Barton

Timothy Glenn Barton passed away on August 14, 2023 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on December 19, 1975 in Key West, FL, to Glenn Barton and Carmelita (Lita) Barton.

Tim was a Navy brat who moved with his older sister, Joan and parents to Guam in 1978, Then on to Monterey, CA and finally to Orange Park in 1984.

Tim was a 1994 graduate of Orange Park High School. He worked a variety of jobs from working in the kitchen at Chuck E. Cheese to a car porter, commercial window washer and eventually a beginner auto mechanic for Frank Griffin Chrysler, Jeep Dodge in Orange Park. After a few years, Tim worked in Chrysler auto parts sales and he continued in that line of work for many years, until his health declined. He had a very generous heart; who helped and befriended many people.

Tim was a novice guitar player who had a love for music with an extensive music collection. He was also a video game enthusiast.

Preceding Tim in death are his grandparents, James Barton/Bienvenido Bautista and Gene Barton/Primitiva Bautista.

Tim is survived by his parents, Glenn and Lita Barton; son, Sabastian Barton and sister Joan (Matthew)Rosema; nephews, Jordan Rosema and Leo Rosema; niece, Miranda (Bradley) Williams and many friends.

The family would like to thank the American Heart Association and the Filipino-American Ministry at St. Catherine Catholic Church for their love and support.
