Tony J. Finney

Anthony “Tony” John Finney, 21, passed away on August 4, 2025 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on December 12, 2003 in Elyria, Ohio. His parents are Bruce A. Miller and Tiffany D. Miller.

Tony volunteered with the St. Augustine Swashbucklers as a Pirate Crew Member and with Boy Scout Troop 477 of Port Orange, FL. He enjoyed gaming, hiking, traveling, kayaking and swimming at Florida’s Springs. Tony loved building complicated Lego sets and made his own clothing style. He loved animals, taking care of not only his 18 year old cat “Schooner” but his home included 6 birds, 5 cats, a tortoise, angora rabbit and a bearded dragon. His goal was to design clothes and become an Interior Decorator.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Geraldine “Dee” Mautone and Anthony R. Mautone and the love of his life, Lillian “Lilli” Rita Arose.

Tony is survived by his parents, Bruce A. and Tiffany D. Miller; brother, Caileb T. Perry; grandmother, Marion “Betty” E. Miller; cousins, Ethan Gibbs, Jordyn Thoman, Braydon Campbell, Madison Gibbs, Jason Gibbs “Bubba Jay”, Michelle Gibbs, Christie Evans, Nena Mae Thompson, Jaylen Henderson, and Aiden Thompsen; aunts, Wanda F. Schultz, Barbara Gibbs, Lorena Ash-Lane and Mary E. Hunt; uncles, Dennis Schultz, Gilbert “Gil” Gibbs, Steven W. Campbell and Frank A. Evans; godfather, Jamie Moses Jones; friends, Connor Curly, Olivia Young, Cody Sunderhaus, Anthony Ross and Wyatt Phillips, and a host of other family members and friends.

On Friday, August 15, 2025 a visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233.

The Celebration of Life will continue after the service at the family’s home, 2640 Bottomridge Drive, Orange Park, Florida 32065.
