Valentine David

Valentine “Vava” David passed away on October 25, 2023 in Orange Park, FL. Vava was born on January 20, 1942 in Haiti, to the late Leo David and Cleante Bernard.

Valentine earned a Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and worked as a C.N.A. in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers in New York. She enjoyed singing in the choir, Ladies Ministry, praying, reading the Bible and helping people. Her church memberships included Renaissance Baptist Church and Tabernacle De Louange.

Valentine was preceded in death are her parents; sister, Yolette David; nephews, Ury Junior David and Wikens St. Cyr and granddaughter, Abigail Demesyeux.

Valentine is survived by her granddaughter, Dadoune David Demesyeux; great-granddaughters, Sarah Demesyeux and Deborah Demesyeux; brothers, Lemek David, Beauduy David, Ury David and Jeiel David; nieces and nephews, Shonica David, Linsky David, Larick David, Scotty David, Geraldine David Exantus, Katia David, Valerie David, Judnie David, Kerby David, Guerson David, Leo David, Christa David, Rodney David, Thamar David, Samuel David, Daniel David, Vanessa David, Nishida David, Jameson David, Ruth St. Cyr, Etzer St. Cyr and Eltida St. Cyr; sisters-in-law, Lourdy David, Marie Daniella David, Guerda H. David and Guerda R. David; thirty-two grand-nieces and grand-nephews and a host of friends.
