Victor Oswaldo Soliz, born January 10, 1948, in Lima, Peru. He passed away on February 21, 2025 In Jacksonville, Florida, leaving a legacy of love, dedication, and service.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Victor worked tirelessly to provide for his family while pursuing his passions. He earned a master’s degree and dedicated his career to education, teaching in the Bronx, New York, and coaching football and soccer at Franklin High School in New Jersey and for Team USA.
Victor served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, earning his U.S. citizenship. His adventurous spirit took him around the world, but his heart was always with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Erlinda, his children, grandchildren, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
Rest in peace, Victor Oswaldo Soliz. Your love and legacy live on.
A service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218.
