Vivian Belcher

Vivian Belcher passed away on March 17, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on February 25, 1952 in Macon, GA, to Mrs. Henrietta Phillips and the late Mr. Ben Phillips.

Vivian graduated high school and attended college. She was a member of Jacksonville Heights Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was also a member of Motorcycle Club and Buffalo Soldiers National Organization.

She was preceded in death by her father, sister, Louise Thomas and grandparents, Ben Phillips, Sr. and Annie Pitts Phillips.

Vivian is survived by her loving husband, Sammy Belcher; children, Renonzo and Michelle Belcher; grandchildren, Jahari, Kyri, Kaleena and Rashean Belcher; sister, Earnestine Ashley; nephews, Reginald Phillips, Benjamin Ashley and Johnathan Thomas and many friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. both at Jacksonville Heights Baptist Church, 6730 Ricker Road, Jacksonville, FL 32244. Interment for Mrs. Belcher following the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
