William Elijah Barnett

William Elijah Barnett passed away on May 3, 2023 in Manning, South Carolina. He was born on March 11, 1959, in Jamaica, West Indies, to Evadney (Taylor) Barnett and the late Samuel Barnett.

After graduating from high school, William worked as a carpenter.  In search of a better life, William moved his family to the United States of America, where he obtained a CDL License and became a Truck Driver. He loved singing and attending First Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Barnett and grandparents, William and Ada Barnett.

William leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Garnice Y. Barnett; children, Nadine Royal, Richard Saunders, Colleen Barnett, Norris Barnett and Cristal Barnett; grandchildren, Tamel Jernigan, Dante Saunders, Taria Jernigan, Kacy-Ann Saunders, Logan Sterling, Aria Barnett and Anya Barnett; mother, Evadney Barnett; brothers, Dennis Barnett and Albert Barnett; sisters, Doreen Barnett, and Florence Crips; nephews, Ogeary Barnett, Oraine Thomas, Drette Thomas, Sandre Thomas, Seian Thomas and Roshan Barnett; nieces, Opal Barnett, and Daniel Thomas; cousins, Lloydie, Tampy, Tony, Plummy and Irene Anderson; sister-in-law, Carmen Gardner; friends, Lucky and  Anthony, and a host of other relatives and friends.
