William Merideth Harmon passed away on March 24, 2025 in Green Cove Springs, FL. He was born on June 9, 1937 in Jonesboro, AR to the late Cecil Albert Harmon and Helen Elizabeth Merideth.
William served and retired with the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. William was very proud he built his own home and was a proud owner of a 1958 Porsche Speedster.
Family members preceding William in death were his parents, wife, Ana R. Harmon; daughter, Kim Harmon and sister, Helen Dutra.
William is survived by his children, Jeffrey (Jenna) Harmon, Mitsy Harmon, Myra (Brian) Russo, and Amy Fahringer; grandchildren, Zachary Fahringer, Arianna Fahringer, Hayley Russo and Gabriella Russo and a host of other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 Noon, both at Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home, 529 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, Florida 32073, (904) 264-1233. Interment with military honor will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32218.
