Willie Barney Jenkins

Willie Barney Jenkins, 78, passed away on December 18, 2019 in Middleburg, FL. He was born March 19, 1941 in Oakfield, GA to the late Barney and Lula Bell Jenkins.

He graduated from Dunbar High School, class of 1960. Willie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant as well as for the Clay County School District where he retired after 13 years of employment.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Earnestine Jones and brother, Larry Barney Jenkins.

Willie is survived by his loving children, Lorie Jones (Tony), Wanda Frazier (David), Shawn Jenkins, Vicky Holiday, and Sharie Johnson (Jeremiah); grandchildren, Ebonee Frazier and Larissa Brown and six other grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank Jenkins of Middleburg, and Eugene Jenkins (Dorothy) of Orange Park, FL; sisters, Betty Battle (Willie) of Green Cove Springs, FL, and Janis Jenkins of Middleburg; aunt, Annie Bell Jenkins of Albany, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon both at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 2703 Forman Circle, Middleburg, FL 32068. Interment will follow at Fowler Cemetery, 4441 Witch Hazel Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.
