Sorry for your loss, sickness and death is an enemy of God, he promises to do away with sickness and death one day soon. Revelation 21: 3,4. The God of the Bible is a loving God who can provide comfort to the mourning ones, those lowly in heart and provide encouragement and strength. 2 Corinthians. 1: 3,4.

I sure was sorry to see the news about Rook. Please accept my condolences and want yall to know I still think about yall so much. The last time I saw him he was in visiting from the service at Thanksgiving in 1986 I think. He was always so good looking like all of yall are. Yall went horse back riding and it was cold Thanksgiving day. I remember thinking how lucky yall were to have all the family together and how lucky I was yall invited us that year. I sure am sorry.

George was a great Chief and he became a good mentor and friend as well. Taught me a lot about leading, and I look back and see the joy that he had with his interactions with us Sailors.
